Administrative Assistant

The Social Workers Registration Board, an independent statutory body established under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap. 505), is responsible for matters related to the registration of social workers (RSWs) and the disciplinary control of their professional activities.

We look for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who wishes to advance his or her career in a supportive environment.

Major Responsibilities:

l   Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Board Office.

l   Handle email, phone and walk-in enquiries from public and RSWs.

l   Assist with the processing of registrations, renewals and complaints.

l   Maintain and update databases, files and other records.

l   Manage office supplies and liaise with external vendors.

Requirements

l   Holding higher diploma or above from a recognized tertiary institution, or equivalent.

l   At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a statutory body.

l   Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Chinese and English.

l   Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.

l   Proven ability to multitask and work independently.

The post is remunerated with reference to the Hong Kong Government’s Master Pay Scale (Points 3-15, currently $17,200-$35,080); 5-day work week, 14 days annual leave plus medical benefits.
