Request for being listed as CPD activity organizer
Criteria for Being Listed as
Continuing Professional Development Activity Organizer
With effect from 3 January 2012, the following criteria are applicable to applicants for being put on the Board’s list of organizers of continuing professional development activities:
1. The applicant should be an entity under any one of the following categories:
a) a tertiary institution established under the pertinent ordinance;
b) an educational institute registered under the Education Ordinance (Cap. 279);
c) a charitable organization under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112);
d) a society registered under the Societies Ordinance (Cap. 151);
e) a trade union registered under the Trade Unions Ordinance (Cap. 332);
f) a professional body registered under any one of the above five categories or its pertinent ordinance; or
g) a business under Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310).
2. In the application, the applicant should provide the Board with the documentary proof of the nature and the registration of the entity as claimed.
3. The applicant should also provide the Board with the following information and documents as appropriate:
a) at least one year’s track record of provision of educational, training, and/or other relevant activities;
b) whether there is any ongoing criminal and/or civil proceedings arising from provision of educational, training, and/or other relevant activities at the time of application or any of the same in the past three years; and
c) if 3(b) is affirmative, the details of each event.
4. The applicant may upload the necessary documents at the time of application.
