Mother's Choice is a local charity serving the many children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. We join hands with our community to give hope and change life stories of vulnerable girls and babies. Our vision is to see every child in a loving family.
Mother’s Choice “Introduction to Child Protection” is a short online introduction to child protection in Hong Kong, specifically for those working with vulnerable children, youth, and families. The course has five modules which introduces the learner to child protection and child abuse, how to identity types of child abuse, respond to children when they show signs of abuse, and how to report with transparency and accountability. The course is interactive with questions, videos, and activities, and the learner is required to pass the final assessment before receiving their certificate.
