1. The list of recognized programmes is compiled by the Social Workers Registration Board based on the best information available at the time of compilation.
   
   
2. The list is compiled for general information and reference only without prejudice to the exercise by the Registration Board of any of its powers and functions in assessing individual social work qualification/training programme. The Board reserves the right to revise the list of accredited programmes (includes making new additions and deletions) as appropriate.
   
   
3. A social work degree awarded in USA that is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is, in principle, recognized by the Social Workers Registration Board for registration. As the CSWE may from time to time review its accreditation criteria and revise its list of accredited programmes, those who intend to pursue social work studies in USA should assume personal responsibilities to verify with CSWE whether the social work programme to be pursued would be accredited at the year of graduation.
