Applications are invited for the post of Professional Consultant (Promotion) under either one of the following options of employment:
Option 1 – Full-time Employment
Applicants should
- hold a degree in any discipline but major in social work definitely an advantage; a master degree a plus;
- possess at least 5 years’ solid post-degree work experience in the social work field or in marketing; experience in conducting lectures/talks and launching campaigns a plus;
Option 2 – Half-time Employment
Applicants should
- hold a degree in any discipline but major in social work definitely an advantage; a master degree a plus;
- possess at least 15 years’ solid post-degree work experience in the social work field or in marketing; experience in conducting lectures/talks and launching campaigns a plus;
Applicants for the post under either option of employment should also
- have rich knowledge of the operation of social welfare agencies and the social work field at large;
- have high proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, and good standard of Putonghua;
- be outgoing, self-motivated, and able to work independently;
- have good interpersonal and presentation skills; and
- have a wide personal network in the social work field.
The holder of the post under either option of employment will assist in tasks including
- dealing with matters related to promotion and publicity;
- sketching promotion plans and producing pertinent publicity materials; and
- organizing and conducting visits, talks, meetings, and sharing sessions for RSWs, employing agencies, social work students, and other parties concerned.
Term of Employment: One-year contract, renewable
